Big news!!! — Sam Frishman of Team Bonk has secured a spot on the Detroit Delegation for the 2026 Maccabi Games!
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Team Bonk’s own, Sam Frishman, will be representing Detroit in Toronto this summer. The Maccabi Games are scheduled for August 2–7, 2026, and Sam earned his place after a golf athlete spot opened up on the delegation.
The opportunity came via a message from Maya Gurfinkel, who reached out to Sam’s father, Michael, with the exciting update. With the event approaching quickly in mid-June, the delegation is moving fast to lock in participants.

Qualification Kick-Off: Solal Risse Shines in the Race for the French U14 Boys Championship
The journey to the French U14 Boys Golf Championship is officially underway, and 12-year-old Solal Risse from Lyon-Salvagny Golf Club has made a powerful start.
Organized by the French Golf Federation, the regional qualifiers in the Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes region consist of two demanding stages that test consistency, resilience, and competitive spirit. Only the top 8 players after both events will earn their ticket to the national finals, set for July 21–26, 2026.
Stage One: Strong Opening at Golf du Domaine du Gouverneur
The first leg took place on April 25–26, 2026, at the prestigious Golf du Domaine du Gouverneur. Known for its beautiful yet challenging layout with water hazards and strategic demands, the course provided the perfect stage for young talents to set the tone for the season.

After an incredible run of success both on and off the course, Team BONK is proud to officially promote Solal Rissé from BONK Academy to TEAM BONK. Representing Lyon Salvagny Golf Club, Solal has built an impressive junior résumé that includes multiple US Kids Golf Lyon Tour championships, a Rhône League title, a Rhône District Championship, and a Quarterfinal appearance at the French National Youth Championships. He also helped lead the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes League to the 2025 French Team Championship in a season defined by passion, teamwork, and elite performance. With goals of competing at the highest amateur and professional levels — including aspirations of playing collegiate golf at Texas A&M University — Solal embodies the work ethic, character, and competitive spirit that TEAM BONK is all about.
The Dynamic Duo Strikes Again!!!

Team BONK siblings Emma and Eric Suarez delivered another standout performance at the 64th Anniversary Championship at Las Palmas Country Club, each finishing 1st in their divisions during a one-day event where scores counted toward two separate leaderboards. Emma topped the 11–12 division against a mixed field of boys and girls, while Eric captured 1st in the 9–10 age group and successfully defended last year’s Club Anniversary Championship title. One round, two competitions, and a double victory for Team BONK’s dynamic duo.
Georgia Grace Spence Joins TEAM BONK

TEAM BONK is proud to welcome Georgia Grace Spence (@georgiaspence.28), a standout Class of 2028 junior golfer from Lone Palm Golf Club with an elite résumé that includes three Central Florida Junior Player of the Year honors, multiple US Kids Tour Championship titles, a Regional Championship, and a podium finish at the FHSAA State Championship. Georgia Grace competes nationally at premier events including the U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championship and the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Tournament of Champions, while also giving back as a Junior Coach through YMCA and First Tee programs. A talented competitor with strong character and big goals beyond golf, Georgia Grace is a perfect addition to the BONK family.

Victor Kornienko Delivers Another Masterclass Performance

Victor Kornienko added another incredible chapter to his growing legacy with a history-making victory at Gelendzik Golf Resort, capturing his third tournament title at the event and setting a new tournament record in the process. Victor closed with a brilliant 68 (-4) to finish tied for first and post the lowest winning total since 2020. Beyond the numbers, the win carried special meaning as Victor dedicated the victory to his father in an emotional tribute. A true competitor who continues to embody excellence, resilience, and gratitude, Victor once again proved why he is one of the standout talents on TEAM BONK.

It was a huge week for TEAM BONK as Gustavo Cases and Olivia Barnes delivered inspiring performances on the course. Gustavo captured the 2026 US Kids Golf Orlando Tour Championship while battling through recovery from viral myelitis and a broken toe, showing incredible toughness and determination. Meanwhile, 11-year-old Olivia finished 2nd place at the PKBGT Masters Futures Division against an older field, posting impressive rounds of 75-77 and proving once again that attitude and hard work can overcome any challenge. Their grit, talent, and fearless mindset perfectly represent what TEAM BONK is all about, and we couldn’t be prouder of these two rising stars.

Team BONK’s dynamic duo, Eric (8) and Emma (11) Suarez, delivered another dominant performance at the Vuelta Bolivia 2026, competing against 127 junior golfers at the challenging Country Club Cochabamba. Eric captured 1st place with a standout three-under opening round, while Emma secured a strong 2nd place finish, just one shot off the lead after a clutch final round. With this result—coming right after their double victory at the U.S. Kids Panamá Invitational—both siblings continue to hold the #1 ranking in their divisions through four tournaments, showcasing elite talent, consistency, and the undeniable chemistry that makes them two of the most exciting rising stars in junior golf.
