Victor Kornienko Drops his first in tournament Hole-in-One

Victor Kornienko Drops his first in tournament Hole-in-One at the 19th Annual Mid Season Invitational!

When a young gun steps up to the tee and makes golf look easy, the entire course stops to watch. That’s exactly what happened when Victor Kornienko stepped onto the 126-yard par-3 on Hole #3 at Reunion during the 19th Annual Mid Season Invitational presented by Srixon on the Hurricane Tour.

During the round, the CEO of the Hurricane Tour, Joshua A. press and Frank Hernandez, head of business made it a point to come over and meet Victor — and he got front-row seats to something special. Victor dialed in his shot, sent the ball soaring straight at the pin… and plunk. It disappeared. Clean. Pure. A textbook hole-in-one.

How do you make a better first impression on the Tour president? You don’t.

This is Victor’s second hole-in-one of the year. To say he’s “dialed in” is an understatement. This kid is playing with serious confidence and precision right now, and the golf world is taking notice.

From the moment he pulled the club back to the second the ball found the bottom of the cup, you could feel the energy shift on the course. That’s the kind of moment that stays with you — and with everyone who witnessed it.

Battling the Elements on Day 3

The excitement didn’t stop there. Day 3 brought serious challenges: a thunderstorm and heavy downpour delayed play until 5 p.m., allowing only nine holes to be completed. With results based on the first two days, Victor still powered through to finish in second place at 2-under.

This marks the third tournament in a row where weather has disrupted the schedule — from postponements and cancellations to marathon 31-hole days. Victor has been battling the elements like a true competitor, showing the kind of resilience every golfer needs when Mother Nature decides to test you.

Bonk Golf: Built for Moments Like This

At Bonk Golf, we love seeing young players like Victor step up and deliver under pressure — whether it’s sinking an ace in front of the Tour president or grinding through weather-delayed rounds. You want gear that performs when it matters most: comfortable hats that stow your ball marker and tees allowing you to focus on what matters, the next shot.

Victor rocks the kind of focused, resilient attitude we design our apparel for. When you’re swinging with confidence — even after waiting out thunderstorms.

What’s Next for Victor?
