Sam Frishman of Team Bonk Heads to the 2026 Maccabi Games in Toronto
Big news!!! — Sam Frishman of Team Bonk has secured a spot on the Detroit Delegation for the 2026 Maccabi Games!
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Team Bonk’s own, Sam Frishman, will be representing Detroit in Toronto this summer. The Maccabi Games are scheduled for August 2–7, 2026, and Sam earned his place after a golf athlete spot opened up on the delegation.
The opportunity came via a message from Maya Gurfinkel, who reached out to Sam’s father, Michael, with the exciting update. With the event approaching quickly in mid-June, the delegation is moving fast to lock in participants.
