Two Team Bonk Standouts Head to Dothan for the Prestigious 77th Future Masters

At Bonk Golf, we’re all about backing young athletes who play with heart, skill, and a true love for the game. This week, we’re thrilled to cheer on two of our talented team members as they compete in one of junior golf’s most iconic events: the 77th Annual Press Thornton Future Masters at Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Alabama (June 20–27, 2026).

A Tournament Steeped in History and Prestige
Since its founding in 1950 by the late Press Thornton, the Future Masters has grown into one of the most traditionally rich and respected junior boys’ tournaments in the world. What began as a local idea at Dothan Country Club has become a true proving ground for golf’s brightest young stars — while also emphasizing sportsmanship, friendships, and a lifelong passion for the game. futuremastersgolf.com
Over more than 76 years, more than 30,000 players from across the globe have competed here. The list of alumni reads like a who’s who of golf: Masters winner Larry Mize, major champions Bubba Watson, Scottie Scheffler, Trevor Immelman, Hubert Green, Jerry Pate, and Ben Curtis, plus PGA Tour winners like Bob Tway, Mark Brooks, and Shawn Micheel. futuremastersgolf.com
Earning an invitation is highly selective, with hundreds of top juniors vying for spots each year. Simply competing at the Future Masters is a major achievement — one that can launch careers and create memories that last a lifetime.
Meet Joshua Fleming

From Deerfield Beach, Florida (graduation year 2032), Joshua has been making waves on the junior circuit in 2026 with strong performances in Under Armour events and South Florida PGA Medalist Tour stops. His competitive fire, solid all-around game, and clutch putting make him a standout on Team Bonk.
Joshua will compete in the 13-14 division against some of the nation’s top young talent. We’re excited to see him represent Bonk on this historic stage.
Meet Victor Kornienko

Victor, our 12-year-old (soon-to-be 13) prodigy from Sankt-Petersburg, Russia, is making history as the first Russian junior golfer ever invited to the Future Masters. A US Kids Golf World Vice-Champion and standout short-game artist, Victor brings world-class talent, dedication, and an inspiring international story to the Bonk family.
As one of the younger players in his division, he’ll face stiffer competition — but given his track record of rising to big occasions, we know he’ll deliver. From early training overseas to podium finishes at major junior events, Victor embodies perseverance and pure joy for golf.
Why We’re Proud
Both Victor and Joshua earned their invitations through consistent excellence — a testament to their hard work and the support of their families and coaches. They’ll be rocking Bonk apparel designed for long tournament days: comfortable, performance-driven gear that holds up on Dothan Country Club’s challenging layout with its fast greens (confirmed by Joshua’s dad Dean from last year) and strategic demands.
We can’t wait to follow their journeys and celebrate every birdie, every lesson learned, and every moment on this legendary course.

Big things are ahead for these two young stars — and for the entire Team Bonk crew. Keep grinding, keep swinging, and remember: Bonk it! ⛳️
