Welcome to Team Bonk Christopher Gomez
We’re thrilled to officially welcome the newest member of Team Bonk — Christopher Gomez, Age 9, Class of 2035.
At just nine years old, Christopher is already showing the kind of dedication, competitive fire, and quiet maturity that makes us proud to have him representing Bonk Golf Apparel. He’s a young player who shows up every day ready to work, and we’re excited to support him as he continues building his game.
Tournament Highlights
Christopher has been competing since September 2025 and has already put together an impressive early résumé:
• 2× Under Armour Junior Tour Champion
• Top 25 — 2026 Under Armour Winter Nationals
• 2026 Under Armour Junior World Championship Competitor
• 7th Place — 2026 U.S. Kids Spring Florida State Invitational (74–74)
• 4× Top-5 Finishes — U.S. Kids Golf Local Tour
• 2026 Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier Champion
• Personal Best: 35 (9 holes) | 74 (18 holes)
Those results speak for themselves. Christopher is competing against strong fields and consistently finding ways to contend.
About His Game
Christopher practices every day and is always looking for ways to improve. Right now he’s focused on developing a smooth, consistent tempo and sharpening his short game. He loves putting in the work and watching how small improvements add up over time.
His approach is simple and effective: he believes in consistency, patience, and trusting the process. His favorite golfer and biggest golf inspiration is Rory McIlroy — a fitting choice for a young player who values both talent and relentless work ethic.
His Mindset
Christopher’s mindset is already one of the strongest parts of his game:
• Show up every day
• Trust the process
• Learn from every round
• Leave the last shot behind and focus on the next one
• Get a little better every day.
As he puts it:
“His goal isn’t to be perfect every day. It’s to get a little better every day.”
