Welcome to Team Bonk, Brian Kelley!
Bonk Golf Apparel is thrilled to welcome junior golf standout Brian Kelley of Port St. Lucie, Florida, to the Team Bonk family.
Brian, an 12-year-old 7 th grader, is redefining what it means to be a self-taught prodigy in junior golf. Since first gripping a club at 14 months old, he has charted an extraordinary path in the sport, developing his game through pure intuition and countless hours of dedicated practice. Adopted at just three weeks old by parents Brian (“Big B”) and Elizabeth Kelley, he was captivated by the game from the moment he could sit beside his dad watching PGA tournaments. By watching the pros on television, “Little B” developed a smooth, powerful swing that left even the adults around him amazed. His favorite player is John Daly, and his swing shares some of that same distinctive flair.
His natural talent emerged early. At age four, Brian claimed victory in his first U.S. Kids Golf tournament. Operating largely without formal coaching, he honed a distinctive “feel” approach to the game, earning him a partnership with L.A.B. Putters and establishing himself as one of junior golf’s most intriguing talents. At age 6, he was already ranked among the top junior players in the world with U.S. Kids Golf while making kindness a priority on and off the course. “Be kind to people,” he said simply—a mindset that continues to define him. His parents have always emphasized that while his golf ability is impressive, it’s who he is as a person that makes him truly special.
On the competitive stage, Brian has consistently proven himself against elite young golfers. He has competed in seven U.S. Kids Golf World Championships and three Under Armour World Championships, achieving multiple top-35 finishes in fields of 180 premier junior golfers—highlighted by a 3rd-place finish on the Under Armour Golf Tour. His resume includes two victories at the prestigious Little Big Break at the Don Law Golf Academy, as well as advancing to the Drive, Chip & Putt Sub-Regionals two times. By age 9, he was excelling in competitions across South Florida and beyond, capturing the U.S. Kids Golf Florida State Championship with a 5-under-par performance and regularly competing on the South Florida PGA Junior Tour, with his family by his side as a true team effort. Dad often caddied, turning tournament weekends into cherished family time.
Off the course, Brian has built a significant digital presence, reaching 250,000 monthly followers across Instagram and Facebook. Through these platforms, he shares instructional content, chronicles his golf journey, and connects with aspiring young golfers worldwide.
Brian’s achievements extend well beyond golf. As an honor roll student and National Honor Society member, he maintains academic excellence while pursuing diverse interests including orchestra, drama, soccer, basketball, competitive pool, football, fishing, and time with his puppy Eevee. His involvement with Holy Family Church further reflects his commitment to personal growth and community engagement. He balances it all while grinding with coaches and bringing energy and positivity to every round, chasing big dreams—making high school teams, becoming a top Division I college recruit, and one day competing at Augusta National.
At Bonk Golf, we look for more than scores. We support young athletes who grind hard, lift others up, and represent the next generation the right way. Brian checks every box. We’re proud to outfit him in our signature magnetic ball-marker hats and gear built for long days on the course as he keeps chasing those big dreams.
This unique combination of athletic prowess, academic achievement, and social media influence positions Brian Kelley as a rising star in golf and an inspiring example for young athletes everywhere.
Welcome to the Team, Brian. We’re excited to watch you continue making an impact—everywhere you go.
