BOOM! In Production!
After months of planning, designing, testing, and sampling, we finally have arrived at actual production on our first run of the custom Performance Fit BONK hats!
The 98/2 poly-blend material we are using is of the highest quality and is extremely light. This was causing some issues with production as we were experiencing collateral damage when stitching the panels which only dramatically increased costs and time of production.
Fortunately, the solution was to bond a mesh to the existing fabric to provide more stability and strength to the overall integrity of the hats so that we could move forward with mass production.
Now that we overcome these challenges, we are officially in production on our first line of Performance Fit hats which will feature:
- 6-panel flex style fitted hats in S/M, L/XL and 2XL sizes
- 12 unique styles, each with the option for the centered or Left Panel offset BONK logo.
- Bill Magnets and custom Tee Slots to accommodate both 2 1/2 and 3" tees (2 slots total)
- Custom BONK, QR Code, and Origin and Material blend tags
- High-performance flex sweatbands
- inseam custom printing based on individual style.
The next steps will be to complete 24 hats (2 of each of the 12 styles) so we can take photographs to update the website so we are ready to go live with our Pre-Sale Promotion.
For the ladies, we are in the process of finalizing our final designs before submitting them for production. We will have more updates regarding the adjustable ladies line coming next week so stay tuned...
